Okay, this really is the last one today. I had to include for all you pregnant moms out there. I wrote about my skepticism of the medicalization of my pregnancy in Baby Love. This is a good contribution to the discussion.

Hi Reb. I'm a feminist medical anthropologist writing you from Canada, if you are interested in this you should check out a book called "Baby's First Picture: Ultrasound and the Politics of Fetal Subjects" by another anthropologist local to Canada, Lisa Mitchell. A really interesting woman to talk to and a great read. - MK.
