The Beautiful Five Thousand Dollar House

I love prefabs. I think they're the answer to unsustainable living. Impermanent, earth friendly, affordable. This one is small, and marketed to developing countries and dislocated people. Imagine this instead of trailers in New Orleans.

Mmmm, yes.

I'm not the biggest fan of prefab dwellings although I do think they have a purpose. That purpose being not to serve as a dwelling in the strictest sense but maybe as a transitory or temporary dwelling. There's something about the construction and architecture and how it relates to its site (and therefore social and environmental context) as it is erected. I think this is particularly the case when the architecture attempts to materially, and also aesthetically, relate to the site. A quick and obvious example would be to use some type of clay cladding, facade or external facing material for a house that possibly sits close to say a clay cliff or clay quarry.

It's about being sensitive to and having a connection with the geography of the buildings context which I do not feel can happen with a dwelling that is manufactured off-site and them just dumped onto the site.

The older I get, the more I desire a simpler live style. Material goods seem to weigh me down these days. I have got rid of a lot of stuff that seems to bind me to this world. The less material stuff I have, the happier I seem to be.

I could very easily live in a structure like this in some small town. A very simple live and would need some animals around me as well.

The house is not even as big as my apartment!. One of my girlfriends have been considering purchasing a similar, but it was simply too small.

It is cute, small and cozy. I love it for it helps us loss no sight of each other; strengthens the bond and ensures the longevity. I would certainly prefer this to skyscraper. Thanks.

This is quite an innovation, from what I can tell. I mean, if you bought some land to start building your dream house on it, this could even be your temporary solution to live in, until the rest is ready. Let`s take a look at it. It has all the basic accommodation you can need, in decent conditions, actually nice ones. I like the fact that you see it as a replacement for trailers. And let`s not forget it`s environmentally-friendly too.

It is great to see through the message. What a cynicism practiced by the indifferent affluent. Hapless lesser world can't but accept the truth.

This is really very graceful house that is available within reasonable price. I think local residents must try to avail this offer. I think this is golden chance for them.
