As for my next book, I won't write it till it has grown heavy in my mind like a ripe pear; pendant, gravid, asking to be cut or it will fall.

I loved that!

Rebecca, when she says "Give up the search for enlightenment, and yet, still have uncompromising intensity. you have it within you, you have all the answers you need right now, you are where you need to be." I'm feeling that and confused, what does that mean to you?

Enlightenment isn't something outside yourself, and you cannot get there through traditional "effort." We are it, so to be it is to bring it, us, to the table in our purest, most intense form.

Divine! this is so with keeping with my Lenten Journey. I liked her thinking around a lot of things. I am inspired in this season of Lent to focus on my creativity and spirituality.

Love women with purpose and divine thought.

I came over here just to look for a link you had up about Danielle that I had lost. This was wonderful. Really simple, deep questions. I love seeing others doing what they love. There is so much beautiful calm.Thanks!

@anna nowo

more and more I'm getting that a full life is a ...hybrid life. I and Thou. Black and white. Ruthless and Compassionate. this "give up the search for enlightenment, and yet, still have uncompromising intensity" angle is from Eckhart Tolle and for me, it gets to the integrated heart of the matter. Be calm, but keep your eyes wide open.
