Does the second picture have glass panels on the side?

Most definitely unique.

That is just crazy building lol

Comment #6 by Genevieve on August 23, 2009 - 11:22pm

there are a lot of structures like that, especially in Hawai'i. I was fortunate to work on organic farms there for a while and got to participate in building, and living in homes such as these. its peaceful and wonderful, adventurous and exciting! it makes one feel human to be able to go into their property and build a fully functioning sustainable home from the ground up. beautiful pictures!

These actually remind me of the students houses that are at the Frank Llyod Wright school of design. They have to build their own homes out of whatever materials they can get from local businesses. They actually come up with some really cool stuff.

Thank you for the pics of these lovely homes. I´m from Germany and think about buying a wooden house in canadian style. Naturally wood is a wonderful material.

These make me think of some of the round houses I have seen out here in the country. One near Orleans is getting surrounded by "developments", the other is still out in the sticks. They seem very appealing, although I assume furniture might cost a bit more (to custom make).

Regardless of the age of the home Oakland remodeling will help you to make your aged home to the new one.

Wow.. that is a really cool way to live. I am kind of envious that I wouldn't be fine living like that.

If I could give this item more stars I would. It's a shame you can't listen to samples from this CD. Joe is magnificent, as always. I have missed hearing him since he left his family band, "The Isaacs". This CD has some fabulous singing on it. Joe's children Ben and Sonya sing with him on some of the songs. Vince Gill is a guest singer on it too. There are some great pickers on it too. You won't be disappointed buying this one. It is a Bluegrass fan's MUST-HAVE!

I wouldn't mind having something like that but I would wonder how it would stand up against the weather.

The 2nd structure is a little two out their for my liking, but the first?

A few of these in a wooded area, suitable walking distance apart would make for a great retreat location!

You'd never get anything like that here in the UK though.
