This is the first time I am hearing about this book. I really liked the cover design but I am not happy. I have the feeling that I have wasted by time and energy by visiting this blog. Previously I used to enjoy visiting this site because I used to get a lot of information. But this time I am utterly disappointed. I hope that Rebecca will be giving us her views on “mixed” soon. I am sitting with my fingers crossed.

This wonderful anthology contributes to ones understaning of the multicultural and interatial experiences sweeping our country. The diversity of everchangning human relationships and the impact of multicultural perceptions are beautifully expressed and represented in this wonderful read. Defining the "American Experience" is an extention of the multicultural and interatial relationships intertwined thougout our society and the stigma they present for us to overcome. The experiences of living the multicultural and interacial life contribute wonderfully to the fiction the authors have provided for this book allowing the reader to relate to the struggles of a mixed America and mixed world.

Massive read, keep it up girl! What do you have slated for 2011? Anxious to hear, Happy Holidays!
It would be a real time experience for the readers to go through this anthology of multi-racial experiences which would help us learn a number of traits to adjust with the society or the community we live in since ours are multi-cultural, multi-lingual, multi-racial and multi-religious nations. It helps and ensures a peaceful coexistence. Thanks for the nice post.
As the cherished goal of an devout patriot, Unity in diversity is the slogan to pursue and this is what seen in the post realised. It is a very thought provoking post. I've enjoyed reading the post. thanks.

Coexistence and mutual benefits are some of the few tenets of the present day societies around the world. In the absence of these pillars, we cannot imagine a stable, growing and sustainable society. Moreover, a society or a people cannot exist in isolation in the fast shrinking society due to the impact of time and modernity. thanks.
Anything mixed is interesting. Now a days, we cannot imagine a nation in isolation at the same in the society there are as many people so many opinions. It is the aggregate of the whole which is the best.

Walker was born Rebecca Leventhal in Jackson, Mississippi, the daughter of Alice Walker, the African-American author of The Color Purple, and Mel Leventhal, a Jewish American lawyer. After her parents divorced, she spent her childhood alternating every two years between her father's largely Jewish area in New York City and her mother's largely African-American environment in San Francisco, where she attended The Urban School of San Francisco. When she was 18, she decided to change her surname from Leventhal to Walker, her mother's maiden name.
I am also a mixed. I'm a half-a as my friend used to say. I am half spanish and half asian. I am proud of being mixed. I can have the best of both cultures Boston Market Coupons
